The YouTube app has almost everything you want: pages displaying trending videos, content from creators you love, and videos filtered by subject. However, an issue I discovered on the app is the ability for creators to spread misinformation/harmful statements and prevent investigation by disabling comments or deleting comments on their videos. Although there are moderators on the app, it is extremely tough for the team to monitor explicit content within the widely expanding community. Therefore, to protect the YouTube community, I created a feature that allows users to tag creators and communicate issues they see with one another.
In order to prevent creators from spreading harmful content on YouTube, I decided to implement another page onto the app to enhance users' experiences. YouTube allows creators to communicate with subscribers through the post feature. However, the only way for viewers to communicate with others or the creator is by commenting on a video. The creator can easily delete or disable comments. Therefore, I decided to create a feature that would allow users to communicate with the creator or with other users through posts or the option of private messaging.

The first page has two options that link to either the discussions page or messages page. Under the new buttons, the page displays posts from online users.

The second page is the discussions page. On this page, users can search for individual creators and view all posts related to the creator.

The third page is the messages page, which displays all of the messages the user has, and allows the user to communicate with other users privately.
